We are very proud to finally announce to the #CancerResearch community the creation of the European Interdisciplinary Society for AI in Cancer Research (ESAC) - a newly formed, pan-European, scientific society dedicated to advancing the integration of AI approaches in oncology practice and committed to:

➡️ kick-starting and reinforcing multidisciplinary collaborations
➡️ developing education and literacy programs
➡️ supporting innovative research projects
➡️ collaborating with partner networks, policymakers, patient representatives, academic and industrial stakeholders.

ESAC was born from the conviction that the effective implementation of AI technologies in diagnostics, treatment and research pathways can only be supported by an organic and structured cooperation between clinicians, imaging specialists, engineers and AI researchers from all research fields.
